In this creative workshop, you will learn the fundamental technique of tissue transfer, commonly applied in collage and decoupage. Our focus will be on vintage seaside photographs, which we will transfer onto pebbles.

During the workshop we will be using paint and Mod Podge, a sealant and varnish, to paste images onto the pebbles. It is fun and can be a bit messy please bring an apron to avoid getting your clothes dirty!

Original photographs will not be used. We will photocopy them before transferring the images onto tissue paper.

All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring along any photos of your choice to give a uniqueness and a personal touch to your artwork. These could include old family photos for example. You are also encouraged to go for a nature walk on the beach somewhere and search for your perfect pebble beforehand. A light-couloured, flat surfaced pebble is idea.

Tickets include a choice of cocktail or mocktail from the MERMAID bar, served whilst you create!
